The first few days of the decade have got me thinking. In ten short years, American farmstead cheese has made astronomical leaps and bounds towards greatness. Today, there are great (not merely good) cheeses issuing forth from just about every state in the nation! Dear ACS Members,

I write this message to share an important and exciting decision made by the ACS Board of Directors. Today we give notice to FSA, the management company that we have worked with since 2001, that we will be disengaging from our relationship with them. We are moving to what’s called “self management”, which means ACS will have its own employees to manage its own affairs. We are asking for your understanding and support in this transition.

In exciting news, the first annual Wisconsin Original Cheese Festival kicked off Nov. 6-7 at the elegant Monona Terrace in Madison, Wis., showcasing hundreds of the state's finest artisan, farmstead and specialty cheesemakers.
